Mechanical Engineer

Due to continued growth, Advanced Engineered Systems, Inc., a supplier of custom automation equipment is searching for a dynamic individual to join the engineering team.
Requirements are:
- BSME with 7 plus years of experience Automation equipment design experience, including CAM mechanisms.
- Proficient with SolidWorks 2010/2011
- Microsoft Office products
- Good communication skills to interface with customers, vendors, and internal staff
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop equipment per customer specifications from concept to production.
- Create and document parts and assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Provide Engineering support during assembly test, and customer installation.
- Use analytical skills to determine loads and deflections, predict wear and necessary maintenance.

Controls Engineer

Due to continued growth, Advanced Engineered Systems, Inc., a supplier of custom automation equipment is searching for a dynamic individual to join the engineering team.
Desired person will have the following:
- A general understanding of automation.
- Capable of interfacing with internal personnel and vendors on component selection, assembly, troubleshooting and final documentation.
- An understanding of safe working practices and principles
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or 5 years of equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years experience working on the design, analysis and fabrication of PLC based control systems (Preferably automation controls and systems).
- CAD experience, preferably with AutoCAD.
- Solid knowledge of both AC and DC circuits.
- PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.
- Servo systems programming and troubleshooting experience.
Additional Qualifications:
- Heavy emphasis on PLC programming and HMI development (Allen-Bradley & Siemens experience is preferred).
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Broad automation exposure, especially with Servos.
- PC literate.
- Vision and/or robot experience is a plus.
