Loss-In-Weight Feeders

Our Loss-in-Weight (LIW) feeders combine the precision of a static measuring device with the versatility and efficiency of a continuous dosing system. The intricate synchronization of agitators and screws provide an accurate, consistent flow of aggregates as well as fine materials.

Model: D-DW-1

The D-DW-1 systems excel in dosing fine to granulated bulk materials accurately across low to mid-range capacities. A separate AC motor controls the agitator and screw for steady material flow. The screw's RPM adjusts based on preset values and bin weight, ensuring desired dosing capacity.

Depending on the set value and on the loss of weight within the weighing bin the speed revolution of the screw is controlled so that the dosing capacity corresponds exactly to the set value. Our LIW feeders are mounted onto a solid steel frame in order to ensure the stability required for a high-precise measuring. LIW feeders can also be supplied according ATEX rules, on request.
